An update for those of you who are thinking "Gee, she's a little more ADD than usual"
I'm transferring to a not yet opened store in Burlington. Life is more chaotic than usual, tho mighty fun. Except for when I forget to mark my calendar or notes with an "N" or a "B" and later can't figure out which friggin store I was referencing. And when a Red Sox loving employee compares me to Johnny Damon.
I'm back at the gym. The three week long "fuck the doctor, my cardiac health, and my family history, I'll eat as crappily as I damn well please" snit ended a week ago and I'm working up to the recommended 6 days. One delightful aspect of my personality is that the more stressed I get, the more energetic I become. Eventually, I can't stand still and start bouncing in place (tho I swear that's Christine's fault) so the gym's a very good thing. Besides, I've got a bin of fall clothes that're a size too small and if I focus on ditching the fat and increasing the muscle, they'll probably fit in a few weeks. Sweet.
And I've been biking, too. Going to see if I can schedule a late October vacation and do the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Hopefully the weather'll be far better than last year's rain soaked, arthritis aggravating, October.
The knitting comes a long, tho I'd better stop neglecting my hapless Amazing Lace partner or we're not going to make the Labro Day cut off. There's really no excuse, beyond my inability to knit while on the eliptical. And I have a shiteload of socks to knit due by Yule that I actually might complete, provided I don't succumb to the lure of joining Sock Wars. Plus scarves, a sweater (or two), and fingerless gloves. Oh my. At least it's only August. Let's see what self-induced fiber frenzy I can inflict on myself this holiday if I procrastinate long enough.
